Tesamorelin is a synthetic growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) analog, which was based on the 44 amino sequence of GHRH. Of course, this sequence has been modified in the lab, to allow the peptide a longer half-life and greater potency.
Tesamorelin is considered a growth hormone secretagogue since it stimulates its secretion and stimulates the insulin-like growth factor (IGF-1).
CJC-1295 is also a synthetic growth hormone-releasing analog and a growth hormone secretagogue. What’s interesting about CJC is that it increases growth hormone secretion without impacting its pulsatility (does not affect its natural episodic secretion cycle).
Combining these two peptides compounds their effects and greatly increases their individual growth hormone secretion abilities.
